Considering the health and social crisis that we are experiencing as a result of the impact of COVID-19, the Spanish foundation Amigos de los Mayores has defined a series of measures that it considers essential to protect the elderly and ensure that their needs are met.
These are recommendations for change and improvement addressed to the administrations concerned, in order to avoid the repetition of the dramatic situations experienced by the elderly in recent months, and the violation of their rights, now and in the future, both at home and in residential care homes.
