European group in Berlin

November marked the second European gathering of 2023 for the Fédération Internationale des Petits Frères des Pauvres, which took place in Berlin.
As usual, the program included an update on the host country’s actions. The German team then presented its future model. This ambitious development project follows on from their September meeting in Paris.

Numerous themes were addressed during these two days of intense work:

  • Reflection on our actions in the field of health prevention
  • Presentation of a parallel study by Niciodata Singur and Mali Bracia Ubogich
  • Debate on how old age is portrayed in the media
  • As well as numerous group workshops

One of the highlights of this European gathering was the presence of Jane Langridge, President of the International Federation. She took the time to address the situation of each American member, providing an excellent opportunity for the international network to stay united!

Many thanks to the team at the German association Freunde alter Menschen e. V. for their organization and warm welcome.
